To Pay Per Post with love

After I got home yesterday from a friendly lunch/business consultation at a restaurant in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, I ran my finger across my mouse pad and was alerted by my Gmail Notifier that I had a new comment on My Football Store. As usual, I immediately logged in to my dashboard and was informed, by Julie’s comment, that I had been named by PPP as a winner of some HP gear. I then went to PPP’s blog to discover that this was no mistake nor trick, I had been selected and given attention from PPP regarding my post and its success in the PPP contest.

Needless to say, I was excited. I sent my friend, the one responsible for all of this web progress I am achieving, a message via IM to inform him of my/our winnings. I then sent out emails to my parents, my brother, my sister and my Jocelyn, back home. Honestly, when I submitted the post (on Dec. 28), I thought, for sure, that I was going to receive something, at least. But, when I got an email on, January 4th, letting me know that my post had been approved and no information regarding a win (HP Gear!!) of any sort, I was a little discouraged and disappointed. However, as I now know, a few weeks later, my post was chosen and I was accepted as the 8th winner in the contest and, for this, I am most surprised, appreciative, accepting and graceful.
