MyBlogLog Tags: Find Users And Content That Interests You
When you logged into your MyBlogLog account today, you probably noticed another new feature. And, no, I am not talking about the Crazy Delicious twitter feature either, I am talking about the new tagging feature! If you, like me, are not perfectly tech savvy (yet), then perhaps the crash course over at the MyBlogLog blog may be of assistance but, basically, as the title of this post implies, you will now be able to easily find users and content that you would typically like to find by simply clicking the related tags. According to my boy Mike Arrington over at TechCrunch, this new feature is
based on a Yahoo internal tool developed by Cameron Marlow at their Berkeley research center, called Tagsona. Yahoo employees use Tagsona to tag co-workers internally (sounds like loads of fun).
In addition to the tags that members will create, MyBlogLog is currently using some tags from Del.icio.us and Technorati. Seems like a great new addition to MBL, I am eager to see who and what gets tagged. Currently, scottalk’s got a whopping 13 tags (LOL) but, I am sure that number will continue to grow. Thanks, MBL, I am proud to be a part of the community, keep up the greatness, please.
