It’s Almost Hammer Time: TechCrunch 20 Applications Due July 6, 2007

by Scott Schroeder on June 16, 2007

Unless there is another extension, it appears as though TechCrunch20 applications are due in less than three weeks by July 6. Michael Arrington and Jason Calacanis have continued to beef up their panel of experts with recent additions like Brad Garlinghouse from Yahoo, Marissa Mayer from Google and musical artist/webtrepreneur, MC Hammer.

If your project will be ready for launch or public demonstration by September 17, submit your application, you could get the opportunity to present your startup on stage, connecting with an audience filled with investors, innovators, consultants and business professionals. Certainly talking about being in the right place at the right time, especially for startups!

Reagrdless of geographical location and business category, just as long as you abide by the one and only golden rule of TechCrunch20, you and your business can and will qualify. The one and only rule is that your project must show at TechCrunch20 first. Take it straight from the TechCrunch20 Blog,

What does it mean when you say “We have just one rule… you have to show it here first?”

TechCrunch20 is asking its twenty finalist companies to launch at the conference. It’s fine if the product is in private testing before the launch date, as long as it is not open generally to the public.

TechCrunch20- two days, twenty of the hottest new killer startups and twenty experts assisting with the conference. Submissions are said to be due by July 6 and finalists are expected to receive word by August 3, 2007. Best of luck to all applicants, may the best of the best learn, network, grow and develop with the best of the best.

It’s almost hammer time, are you ready?
