Peopleized!: People Interview People! (Not The Other Way Around)

by Scott Schroeder on June 29, 2007

ScottPot: Peopleized! I am not sure if you were a part of the recent community message blast in MyBlogLog sent by Peopleized! so, let me just spell it out for you,

Get Peopleized! A whole new way to promote yourself..

Looking for promotion?

Get interviewed by people and be exposed to new audiences. Interviews show “behind the scenes” of you and your blog/site like never seen before. Meanwhile, you will make new friends, gain links to your site and spread your message!

Looking for content?

Interview cool people and get unique content for your readers. Every interview on Peopleized is available for you to publish on your site for free. Take a second to look around - it’s worth it!

This is what we call “High content promotion.” Still not sure? Only one way to find out: www. peopleized. com

I just signed up myself but, from the looks of it, Peopleized!, a place where people interview people, seems like a great new way for anyone and everyone to better market and promote themselves online. Sure, like MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog, you can submit your sites, give some biographical information, upload your own avatar (maybe the same one that you use for your Gravatar) and meet new people but, now, Peopleized! has taken it a step further and created a place for users to easily initiate interview requests (and hopefully conduct interviews, too).

Sounds like a great idea, I am eager to see how it develops. What do you think? Do you like it? Have you joined yet? Look me up!

Sounds great but they are spamming your MBL messages box??

I thought I have submitted my comments but I did not see them here.

Peopleized may be great but if they are spamming the My Blog Log messages box then they lose my respect.

Hi, Cherry, it appears as though Akismet snagged another one of you comments and marked it as spam (I am so sorry, I don’t know what is up with it). Anywhoo, I have fetched it out for you and it is now live!

And, about the Peopleized! and spamness, that is a sticky situation, Cherry. It certainly is a bit spammy but, it, too, is a bit effective and efficient. I think these new MBL community messages will get some bad opinions just as they will get some good ones. I, honestly, am not sure what to say. But, if you want to try Peopleized!, let me know, perhaps we can arrange an interview ;)

Hi Cherry and Scott,

about the message at Mbl, I would have write it in another way. It shouldn´t be a spam but it looks very spamy, you be right. I don´t do it again in that way sorry.

Regards Halil

Hey, Halil, no worries from me, I understand. For me, it was effective, I signed up afterwards. You got to get the message out, use the tools at your fingertips. But, do be careful, some people might not be as understanding.

Best of luck, I am eager to see this startup grow.

I have yet to log on on my MBL account to check whether I get Peopleized message.

Yeah I get tired of the countless message box spam in MBL too. You can always promote it differently without leaving the URL. People will find it through your MBL community page.

Right, right, I hear you, Cherry. There is a thin line with that type of promoting. Some hate it and some don’t mind.
