Shrimp Lovers’ Delicious Treat (Especially During That Summer Time Heat)

Earlier this week, I left a comment on Cherry’s post, Salmon and Chicken Doria Recipe: My Guilty Pleasure, over at My Diet Methods Reviews And Recipes, mentioning a new recipe that I recently had the privilege of learning (and consuming). My friend showed me (and made for me) this past Sunday and I felt inclined to share such a sweet eat. Preparing this dish is just as easy as buying the ingredients:

• 1 pound cooked shrimp
• 2 small limes (or one big lime)
• 2 avocados
• 1 yellow onion (depending on size, use 1/2 to 1/3 of onion)
• 1 cluster of cilantro
• 1 container salsa/pico de gallo
• tortilla chips (or cabbage/lettuce)

*Servings based on 2 person meal

To make:

1.) Clean ingredients
2.) Take tails off of the shrimp and slice
3.) Slice lime(s) and squeeze over shrimp
4.) Slice avocados and add to shrimp with lime juice
5.) Slice onion and add to mixture
6.) Slice cilantro and add to mixture
7.) Add couple of spoonfuls of salsa/pico de gallo to mixture
8.) Stir it up and serve it up with chips, cabbage and/or lettuce

* Tabasco and salt can be added to taste as well

No heating of the oven (or of the house!!) is required, simply clean, slice, mix, serve and enjoy! When this treat was made for me, we consumed it with some tortilla chips but, for a no complex carbohydrate meal, I recommend trying it with some cabbage pieces.
