Friday, August 3, 2007: It’s Pretty Much My Favorite Day Of The Year (So Far)
Friday, August 3, 2007…Never mind my Friday morning and the fantastic interview that I had, let me get right to it and blast the good news straight to you:
You may recall one of my previous posts, It’s Almost Hammer Time: TechCrunch 20 Applications Due July 6, 2007. Regardless, Gerard and I submitted our startup, Swamble, to TechCrunch20 and found out last night that Swamble has made it to the final round, consisting of the top 100 out of approximately 700 applicants from 26 different countries. The judges for the TC20 will narrow down the top 100 to the final 20 after seeing a demo from each startup. We are ecstatic and truly honored to be considered for such an event.

Congratulation! I hope Swamble does make it to the top 20. 100 out from 700 is already a great job. What is your aim for Swamble actually?

When will they announce the top 20 ?
The top 20 are said to be determined over the next 2 weeks. Demos/interviews need to be conducted and completed and then they will decide.
