WidgetBuck$: Apparently, Their Ads Don’t Suck

WidgetBucks Serving up pay-per-click (PPC) ads for bloggers and publishers, WidgetBucks has penetrated the widget world with a slightly different approach than Google Gadget Ads and AuctionAds (and a few other similar services). WidgetBucks delivers consumer product ads (either related to the site’s keywords or the ones selectively chosen by site owners) featuring the most popular products based on the buying trends of online shoppers. This way, consumers can view products while comparing price and popularity of similar items.

These “WidgetBucks shopping widgets” are also said to be more financially appealing, offering a $3-$6 CPM (cost per mille- cost per thousand impressions). Regardless of the amount of clicks proposed or the money projected to be earned, WidgetBucks has certainly stepped foot into the online market, looking to utilize the popularity of widgets to their advantage.

I like your blog makeover. Adsense didn’t work for me, but I haven’t tried these widget ads.

Hey, AV, thanks! I am glad you like my new blog appearance (there’s still a few things that need changing but, for the most part, this is the new ScottPot).

Yeah Adsense doesn’t really payout enough (in my opinion) nor do the ads look all that appealing. Whereas, these widgetbucks widgets seem to offer a way to engage the reader in the products advertised and, hence, ask for a click. If you try widgetbucks out, I would love to hear what you think about it/them. Take care, AV, off to clean up and head to work…see ya later!
